The Story so Far

I took up a camera at eleven years old.  i have still to put it down.  I was self taught until coming to the UK, where I learned to print my images, and understand the process.  Black and White film still remains my 'serious materials' loaded into a Hasselblad there's nothing like it.  However I've embraced the democracy of digital cameras, and the economy of being able to make images everyday.


It's one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it's another thing to make a portrait of who they are
